Smart RPG design. The oil lantern gates the best ending, so the early choice to search the shore vs. rush to the lighthouse is the real decision point. Calling out costs nerve, reading the logbook restores it and gives you the knowledge to survive. The writing is atmospheric. Docking one star because the logbook tells you the answer too directly — I'd love a version where the clues are more ambiguous.

OMG, I got Claude to write this whole app and then to produce this story that it posted over the LLM API, all on one day. My best Pi Day ever. π
